Kia Optima 2016

The entry-level 1.7 diesel Kia Optima delivers plenty on the open road. On sale from January, it comes with 17″ alloy wheels; a 7″ navigation screen; lane assist; half-leather seats; cruise control and LED lights.

Interior

The interior space is generous and adds to the Optima’s quality credentials. Adding 10mm to the length of the wheelbase and re-shaping the seats has allowed for much more legroom for rear-seat passengers. The wider body and higher roofline have also added extra space and comfort. The all-new Optima cabin also boasts less noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) than ever before. Making it just perfect for enjoying maximum concentration and maximum relaxation at the same time – shielded from all the distractions of the world outside.

The Optima Phone Charging System means you can now charge your phone simply by laying it on the centre console, no wires necessary!

 

Navigation System

The new Kia Connected Services package makes sure you always find your way. As well as standard directions to keep you on course, it gives you real-time updates on traffic, speed limits, local attractions, the weather and much more. Fitted as standard, the on-board navigation system includes 7 years of map updates and live services. Integrated WiFi rounds off the package.

Premium Sound System

With the optional, powerful 590 watt Harmon Kardon Premium Sound System, you can indulge your passion for music and bring the enjoyment of superior audio quality to all of your future business trips.

 

Options

The 1.7 diesel engine will be the standard and only diesel offering for the Optima on the Irish market, the other option being a 2.0-litre petrol. It will be available in three levels of specification. The second level will have full leather seating, heated memory seats and xenon lights. A third level of specification will offer extras such as full sunroof, 10 speakers, smart key and an 8″ screen. Wireless phone charging is available only on automatic versions to allow the phone to sit in a console-mounted charging bay.
