New Car Sales Up 20%

New car sales are up 20% on the same period last year (January to July). With Hyundai leading the pack as the most popular brand with 11.02% of the market share, ahead of Toyota (10.63%), Ford (10.23%), Volkswagen (10.22%) and Nissan (10.22%).

Both Volkswagen and Nissan have lost market share in the private car market from last year. At the end of July 2015 Volkwagen had 10.5% of the market share, while Nissan had 9.9%.
