The Spectacular New SEAT Tarraco

The new SEAT Tarraco joins the small Arona and midsized Ateca to complete SEAT’s threesome of SUVs. The 7-seat SUV will be set to rival the Hyundai Santa Fe and the Skoda Kodiaq. At 4,735mm long it is slightly longer than both models but not as tall as either.

Design features on the new Tarraco include a distinctive front grille, a welcome light making it easier for you to find your car on dark nights, and LED lights front and rear.

Inside all models of the Tarraco you will find a digital dashboard with an 8” touchscreen above the centre console. Through the touchscreen display you can access your smartphone apps via Apply CarPlay or Android Auto. There is also the option of a wireless charger, so you’ll be connected on the go.

Moving to the rear seats you will find loads of headroom and the second-row slides and reclines, creating more room for the third-row passengers. This ensures the comfort of everyone in the vehicle. There’s plenty of space in the boot too with max bootspace, with the third-row folded, being 700 litres.

SEAT boast that the Tarraco comes with the latest in design and technology and they’re not wrong. It’s driver assistance technology includes lane assist and front assist, which reacts to a cyclist or pedestrian crossing in front of your vehicle suddenly by automatically breaking, on all vehicles. Optional driver assist technology includes the usual; blind spot assist, traffic sign recognition, adaptive cruise control and traffic jam assist which does the slowing down/speeding up for you. The Tarraco will also call emergency services for you in the event of a crash.

There are two petrol engines, a 148bhp 1.5-litre engine and a 187bhp 2.0-litre engine and two diesel 2.0-litre engines producing 148bhp and 178bhp, available. Entry-level models are front-wheel drive with a six-speed manual and the higher-spec models get a seven-speed DSG and a 4WD system.
