Toyota C-HR
We got a peak at the new 5-door Toyota C-HR (Coupe High-Rider) at the National Ploughing Championships last week in Offaly. The C-HR is 4.36m long by 1.79m wide and 1.555m high and Toyota claim that the C-HR has cabin space similar to the Qashqai, even though it appears smaller on the outside.
The new C-HR has a crossover body which combines a muscular stance with a sweeping coupe-like cabin featuring disguised rear door handles and a floating roof design which will immediately catch your eye. Elegant LED headlamps and a diamond-patterned grille frame the front of the vehicle, and to the rear there are distinctive boomerang-shaped rear lights.
Inside the C-HR you will find stylish design with premium quality that matches the exterior. The dashboard is driver-orientated with signature accent and soft leather trim, and an 8-inch touch-screen complete with Toyota’s Multi-Media platform.
The technology features available include the high quality JBL premium audio system and Toyota’s Safety Sense, which incorporates a range of active and preventative systems to keep you and your passengers safe including: Pre-Collision System (with Pedestrian Detection), Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Alert with steering control, Automatic High Beam and Road Sign Assist. Other options available include; heated seats and Park Assist.
The C-HR will be on sale from November and pricing starting at €26,895 for the 1.2-litre petrol engine and €29,350 for the hybrid version.
